Yumika Sparkman MSW, LCSW, QS

SW 10791 Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Yumika connects with clients easily and enjoys meeting new people. She is intrigued by the unique differences and experiences that each of us have. She was blessed to find her passion early in life and has spent at least 22 years working with individuals and families. Yumika believes that we all have had certain experiences in our lives that have shaped the way we view, interact, and experience the world. Often times, we display difficulties in coping that hinder us from reaching our full potential and enjoying life.

She is a Christian and has been married for 25 years. Yumika and her husband have 6 of the most amazing children. Throughout this time, she has held several positions as a therapist, lead therapist, and program director. She has experience working with children, adolescents as well as adults in a variety of settings such as residential facilities for adolescents, in-home and in-school therapy, and community-based programs in out-patient therapy settings.

Yumika Sparkman currently holds a license in Clinical Social Work and received Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Social Work from Florida State University. She has experience in individual, family, and couples therapy addressing many issues: ADHD, ODD, Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, Suicidal Ideation, Bipolar Disorder.

Damaris Reveron RMHC

 IMH 26449 Registered Mental Health Intern

Damaris is a bilingual mental health counselor intern, fluent in both English and Spanish. Originally from Puerto Rico, she has lived in the United States for over 25 years and understands the unique challenges of cultural transition. Her approach to therapy is holistic, focusing on exploring your beliefs, thoughts, and emotions. She will provide support and guidance as you navigate your therapeutic journey, helping you discover your inner strengths and resilience. Damaris will prioritize your needs and utilize a client-centered approach to ensure you feel heard and understood.
 

Damaris holds a Master's Degree from Walden University and has experience working with children ages 6-10, pre-teens, adolescents and adults. Her areas of expertise include anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and trauma. If you are feeling stuck or unheard, please reach out to her. Elizabeth Mejia RMHC

 IMH 22783 Registered Mental Health Intern

Elizabeth is a compassionate mental health professional with over four years of experience in private practice. She works with a diverse range of clients, supporting them through challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and life transitions. Elizabeth employs a holistic, client-centered approach, drawing from evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based techniques. For clients seeking a Christian perspective, her training enables her to help process the intersection of faith and life’s challenges.

Throughout her career, Elizabeth has been committed to providing a safe, empathetic space for clients to explore their emotions, build resilience, and work toward personal growth and healing. As a wife and mother, Elizabeth draws on her own life experiences, along with her passion for mental health and dedication to ongoing professional development, to shape her approach to therapy. By combining a warm, non-judgmental presence with practical tools, Elizabeth empowers her clients to gain insight into their lives, enhance coping strategies, and make lasting, positive changes. She believes in the transformative power of therapy and is dedicated to supporting individuals on their journey toward well-being and self-actualization

Elizabeth holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Theological Studies and Counseling from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, and a Master’s Degree in Christian Counseling from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. She is in the final stages of completing the licensure requirements and currently practices as a Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern.

Rachael Dobson, RCSW

ISW 17026 Registered Social Work Intern

Rachael is a Registered Clinical Social Work Intern with a Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from Florida State University. With a strong foundation in trauma-informed care, Rachael is dedicated to facilitating emotional growth and resilience in her clients. She takes a holistic approach to therapy, focusing on empowering individuals to cultivate self-awareness and achieve lasting personal transformation.

 

Rachael has specialized experience working with children, adolescents, and young adults who have experienced complex trauma. She employs evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Play Therapy, and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to develop tailored treatment plans that address the unique needs of each client.

 

Her clinical approach is rooted in the belief that every individual deserves a space to feel heard, understood, and supported. Rachael is committed to fostering creative expression and offering innovative therapeutic interventions that facilitate emotional healing and growth.

 

Outside of her professional pursuits, Rachael is an avid reader, a painter, and enjoys exploring new cultures through travel. She values quality time spent with family and friends, recognizing the importance of community in the healing process
